今年復活節為何兔協沒有舉辦活動？

相對於人類的一生，兔子的一生無疑是短暫的，在這短暫的一生，同樣經歷人世間的生老病死，人見人愛往往只屬於年輕健康漂亮，但當牠們經歷衰老和疾病的時候，我們願不願意給牠最初的呵護？最欣慰的是，還有我們這班病患老兔的守護者，對牠們的愛始終未變。

患病或年老的兔子進出醫院次數頻密，多次與死神擦身而過，令我們更加珍惜和疼愛。縱使牠們曾經被遺棄甚至不完美，我們亦願意守護牠們到最後，這20年來陪伴無數被遺棄的兔子走完牠們的生命道路。

2023年正直兔年，又是兔協成立20週年，加上就快到復活節，自然又令人想起復活兔，坊間有不少與兔兔相關的活動，但對於會内101隻被遺棄的兔兔，有61隻患病需要照顧，職員和義工每每都要嚴重超時工作，沒有任何事比照顧牠們更重要，我們堅持將所有人力物力專注地投放在照顧牠們的工作上，所以我們今個復活節放棄了參與不同型式的活動，就算沒舉辦活動，也希望能得到大家繼續支持，感謝大家。

Why didn’t HKRS hold any activities this Easter?

Compared with the life of human, the life of rabbits is undoubtedly short. In this short life, they also need to experience birth, aging, sickness and death. Adorable is often only representing rabbits who are young, healthy and pretty, but when they experience aging and sickness, will you still give them your initial pampering? The most gratifying thing is that there are also guardians of our old/sick rabbits, whose love for them has never changed.

Old/sick rabbits come in and out of the hospital frequently, and have passed by the god of death many times, which makes us cherish and love them even more. Even though they were once abandoned or even imperfect, we are willing to protect them to the end. In the past 20 years, we have accompanied countless abandoned rabbits to complete their life.

2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, and it is the 20th anniversary of the establishment of HKRS as well. In addition, Easter is approaching, so it is naturally reminiscent of Easter rabbits. There are many activities related to rabbits everwhere, but for the 101 abandoned rabbits in our centre, there are 61 sick rabbits that need to be taken care of. The staff and volunteers often have to work severly overtime. Nothing is more important than taking care of them. We insist on putting all our manpower and material resources into the work of taking care of them, so we gave up participating in different types of activities this Easter. Even if no activities are held, we still hope to get your continued support, thank you all.
