2024年7月28日早上九時至下午六時，這個時段兔協所在的福康工業大廈將會暫停供電以進行5年一次的檢查。當日兔協會暫停服務，包括門市不開門營業，已預約美容及寄養服務除外，不便之處，敬希原諒。

根據過往的經驗，大廈暫停供電進行檢查的時段多數會在3小時左右完成。屆時在這時段入住酒店的兔子和本會的待領養兔子亦會受到影響，有見及此，本會已提前與主人聯絡並提供應變方案，感謝已登記入住的兔主人對本會的信任。

我們會在27/7的營業時間結束後，把兔協內的所有冷氣開啟並將溫度調節低，務求令協會內整個空間都處於一個溫度較低的環境。當停電開始時，冷氣的餘溫可確保空間有一定溫度。而當日早上負責的義工會提早回到協會留意所有兔兔的一切狀況，同時亦會加設多部充電式風扇和照明燈令室內空氣流動和方便職員照顧兔子。

為免因停電後的氣溫差距太大，我們會不時查看溫度計，如溫度一旦上升，我們已準備足夠數量的冰種，屆時會放置於籠內的軟墊下，亦會按情況更換，直至停電完畢。此狀況可令兔兔慢慢地下調到適當的體溫，如我們發現兔兔身體狀況出現異樣，會立即作出適切安排。

Important Message:

Fuk Hong Industrial Building where HKRS is located will suspend power supply during 9am to 6pm on July 28, 2024, for a five-year inspection. HKRS has suspended services on that day, including our centre will be closed, except for scheduled grooming and boarding services. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Based on the past experience, most of the time when the building’s power supply is suspended for inspection will be completed in about 3 hours. Rabbits staying in our hotel during this period and our homing rabbits will also be affected. In view of this, we have contacted the boarding rabbits’ owners in advance and provided contingency plans. We would like to thank the boarding rabbits’ owners for their trust in HKRS.

After the office hours of July 27, 2024, we will switch on all the air conditioners in our centre and adjust the temperature to a low temperature, to ensure that the entire space in our centre is in a lower temperature environment. When power outages begin, the residual temperature of the air conditioners ensures that the space remains an appropriate temperature. In the morning on July 28, 2024, the voluteer in charge will return to HKRS earlier to pay attention to the conditions of all the rabbits. At the same time, a number of charged fans and lights will be installed to circulate indoor air and facilitate staff to take care of the rabbits.

In order to prevent the temperature difference after the power outage from being too big, we will check the thermometer from time to time. If the temperature rises, we have prepared sufficient amount of ice packs, which will be placed under the 3d mat/bedding in every cages and will be replaced according to the situation until the power outage completed. This condition allows the rabbits to slowly lower their body temperature to an appropriate temperature. If we find that any rabbit’s physical condition is abnormal, appropriate arrangements will be made immediately.
