29/7/2024 香港兔友協會 x CARE@hkjc 關懷兔子義工計劃 / HKRS x CARE@hkjc Caring Rabbit Volunteer Program 香港兔友協會 x CARE@hkjc 由於2023年正直兔年，市民因為應節大量購買兔子當作寵物飼養，後來發現對兔毛敏感或因兔子生病沒經濟能力支付醫療費等問題而棄養，棄養數字於2023-2024年間大大急升，本會現存超過100隻兔子。本會希望藉著由香港賽馬會贊助的 “關懷兔子義工計劃” 讓參與的義工能體驗被遺棄動物的嚴重社會問題，日後如想飼養寵物，可先考慮領養代替購買，令無家的動物得以重生。 由即日起報名參加8月份清籠義工服務的人士 (9月份稍後會再公開招募)，每服務一次 (最少3小時) 每人均可獲贈一枚由 A little bit 精心設計的My Childhood主題系列裏其中6款的兔兔圖案，並授權本會製作成義工獎勵計劃襟章以作紀念，襟章製作費用由香港賽馬會資助，數量有限，送完即止。 服務日期：(每日名額20人) 時間：中午12:30 開始 (約3-4小時) *最少服務滿3小時可獲贈義工獎勵計劃襟章一枚，6款可選。 工作：清理兔子籠舍 (無經驗亦可以) 義工年齡需為12歲或以上，未滿16歲的人士需由家長陪同一齊進行義工服務。 可以幫手的兔友們，可連同以下資料 (每位) pm 俾我哋，義工會盡快回覆，謝謝。 姓名 (每位) ：
HKRS x CARE@hkjc Caring Rabbit Volunteer Program Since 2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, people bought a large number of rabbits as pets during the festival, but abandoned them later after discovering that they were allergic to rabbit fur or had no financial ability to pay their medical expenses because the rabbits were sick. The number of abandoned rabbits increased significantly between 2023 and 2024, HKRS now has more than 100 rabbits. We hope that through the “Caring Rabbit Volunteer Program” sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, participating volunteers can understand more about the serious social problem of abandoned animals. If anyone want to keep pets in the future, they can consider adopting them instead of buying them, so that homeless animals can have a rebirth. For those who participate in each cage cleaning volunteer services (minimum 3 hours) from now on (recruitment will be open later in September), each participants can receive one badge. The badges are designed by A little bit, “My Childhood” theme series, with 6 types of designs, and HKRS has been authorized to make them into Volunteer Award Scheme badges as a commemoration. The cost of producing the badges is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. The quantity is limited and while stocks last.
