New arrangements on Delivery Service of Hong Kong Rabbit Society (Effective date : 1st June 2014)
As you are aware, we are trying our very best for years to accomplish customers’ requirements on our delivery service. In the past, if customers were unable to pay promptly at door owing to certain reasons, logistics companies would, at their discretion, allow customers to get their delivery and to pay in terms of bank transfer afterwards. However, we regret to find that a significant amount of irrecoverable debts was incurred, thus, rabbit welfares were affected.
At the same time, customers who deposited payments in advance did not provide pay-in slips for our reference. So, our staff had to spend extra time to reconcile bank transactions. All these mean addition burdens on our tight workload.
In order to ensure all our effort will be focus on rabbit welfares, starting from Jun 1, 2014, delivery service will be made on “cash on delivery – COD ” basis:
Customers may place their orders in terms of phone calls, online or in person to HKRS. On the delivery day, logistics company will contact customers in advance to confirm the delivery day and time in order to ensure customers are on the spot. If they are unable to contact the customer, the delivery will reschedule to another day. Goods will be delivered on COD basis. So, if payment is not received at door, it is the responsibility of deliveryman to return the goods to HKRS. Bank transfer and/or PPS payment afterwards WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED in order to minimize the risk of irrecoverable debts and to reduce the workload of our staff. We look forward to your understanding.
