The rabbit's body is very fragile and easily injured. If the rabbit is not held properly, they can injure themselves through attempting to escape. The correct way to hold a rabbit is to first hold the muscles around the back of the neck or under the armpit, and then lift it up and support it’s body with your other hand. Last of all make sure you hold the rabbit firmly and close to your body so that you don’t injure the rabbit and it doesn’t try to jump.
